This page, a work in progress, will be a place where I try to "put it all together" in terms of how Illinois probate and estate planning works.  My plan is to create interrelated sub-sections containing:

-a hypertext version of the Illinois Probate Act and other relevant statutory provisions;
-copies of probate-related court rules and forms for Cook County and other counties in Northern Illinois; and
-a narrative detailing how the probate process works.
